Mary Wiles Fagan
Mary Wiles "Tiny" Fagan, 84, of Cornersville, died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at NHC Lewisburg.
Mrs. Fagan was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late William Herbert and Daisy Whitehead Wiles. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse for Gordon's Hospital, Dr. Kenneth Jack Phelps, and Merihil Nursing Home. She was a member of the Cornersville Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ella Mae Grandi, Lucille Turner, and Janie Duvall; 10 brothers, Charles Wiles, John Ira Wiles, Paul Wiles, Vance Wiles, Clyde Wiles, Thomas Wiles, James Wiles, Hubert Wiles, Edward Wiles, and Odell Wiles; and one great-grandson, Jeffery Clark Taylor.
Mrs. Fagan is survived by one brother, R.L. Wiles of Lewisburg; two daughters, Lucy Merrell (Terry) and Ruth Cathey (Leonard), both of Franklin; two sons, Douglas E. Fagan Jr. (Monette) of Lewisburg and David Roy Fagan (Jill) of Cornersville; eight grandchildren, Jeff Taylor and Kristy Watkins, Tricia Schultzman (Connor) and Mary Cathey, Allison Stejskal (Chase), Jody Fagan, and Kristin and Haley Fagan. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Koda and Ashton Watkins, and Curt and Ben Taylor; and her best friends, her beloved dogs Jazz and Carly.
The funeral service for Mrs. Fagan was held Tuesday, June 24, at London Funeral Home, followed by burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery of the Berlin Community in Marshall County.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cornersville Church of Christ Youth Fund or the Bethlehem Cemetery.
London Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
