Sue Clay Anthony Eaves, 87, resident of Stillcorn Ridge Road, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

The Sumner County native was the daughter of the late James William Anthony and Gertrude Haynes Anthony. On April 20, 1946, she married Randall H. Eaves, who preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2007. Mrs. Eaves was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lewisburg.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Campbell Mann Anthony, and sisters, Martha Ellen Anthony Hackett, Ione Ford Anthony Chambers, and Mildred Haynes Anthony.

Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Sue Eaves (J. Dale) Kennedy of Athens and Pamela Kay Eaves (Louis E.) Holloway of Columbia; grandchildren, Jennifer Ann Kennedy (Trey) Coggins of Atlanta, Ga., Johnathan Clay (Emily) Kennedy of Murfreesboro, Louis Chadwick Holloway of Warner Robins, Ga., Benjamin Randall (Sarah) Kennedy of Athens, Andrew Kyle Holloway of Columbia, and Maranda Irene Holloway (Christopher) Bastain of Clovis, N.M.; and great-grandchildren, Harrison Thomas Coggins and Marshall Watson Coggins, both of Atlanta, Ga., and Penelope Kay Bastain and Elliot Edward Bastain, both of Clovis, N.M.

A graveside service for Mrs. Eaves will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Crestview Funeral Home Memory Gardens in Gallatin with Dr. J. Dale Kennedy officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dale Kennedy, Louis Holloway, Clay Kennedy, Chad Holloway, Benjamin Kennedy, and Kyle Holloway.
