Dolores Fisher Rippie
Dolores Fisher Rippie was born Oct. 17, 1947, to the late Clyde and Edna Mc Quiddy Fisher in Marshall County. She was the third of three children, one of whom preceded her in death. She attended and graduated from Jones High School in 1965. She was a member of Greater First Baptist Church. She was married to the late Archie Osborn Jr. and to this union one son was born. She later married Albert Rippie who also preceded her in death. She retired from Mead Containers as a secretary after 30 years.
Dolores departed this life on Sept. 28, 2014, at Maury Regional Medical Center. She leaves behind to cherish her memories a loving and devoted son, Kevin (Melanie) Osborn; a special son and caretaker, Karl Fisher; four grandchildren, Nastashia Osborn, Kiera Osborn, Austin Blade, and Alliyah Osborn; and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Amani. She will be missed by a devoted, loving, and caring sister, Katherine Bishop; aunt, Mamie Fisher of Atlanta, Ga.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; and special friends, Susan Harper and Lori Morton.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Greater First Baptist Church, with eulogy by Reverend William Herbert Johnson. Interment will be in Lone Oak Cemetery.
