Wilburn Eugene Clark
Wilburn Eugene "Gene" Clark, 89, of the Berlin Community, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Clark was a native of Rutherford County, and son of the late William Joseph and Virginia Tennessee Taylor Clark. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a farmer and school bus driver for the Marshall County School System, and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Chick and Gladys Rowland; and two brothers, Alfred Clark and Charlie Clark.
He is survived by his wife, Wynona Garrett Clark of the Berlin Community; two daughters, Deborah Clark (Chris) Huber of Lewisburg and Delores Clark (Pat) Kimbro of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister, Betty Alderdice of Lewisburg; brother, Fay Clark of the Rover Community; five grandchildren, Courtney (Brent) McMahon, Nichole (Frank) Musgrave, Joshua Clark, Andrew Clark Gatewood, and Matthew Clark Gatewood; and three great-grandchildren, Gannon McMahon, Easton McMahon, and Taylor Clark.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The family will be at London Funeral Home Friday until the funeral hour for visitation.
