Lee Davis Jr.
Lee Davis Jr., 71, of Chapel Hill, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, in Murfreesboro.
Mr. Davis was born in Enterprise, Ala., and was a son of the late Elizabeth Tidwell Davis and Lee Davis Sr. He was a graduate of Giles County High School, Class of 1961, and, following graduation, proudly served his country as an airman in the United States Air Force. Mr. Davis was an avid fisherman and a very talented artist. He was formerly employed with Mead Container Co. of Lewisburg.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Janet Davis of Chapel Hill; daughters, Becky (Chuck) Coble of Lewisburg and Debbie (Kevin) Howard of Orlando, Fla.; son, Joey Davis of Cornersville; stepdaughter, Angela (Ken Jr.) Butler of Shelbyville; sisters, Carolyn Davis of Goodspring, Tenn. and Linda (Lawrence) Johnson of Pulaski; grandchildren, Chelsea and Charlie Coble, Ryan and Megan Howard, Tabitha (Junior) Freeman, and Christopher Short; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 14, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Eason officiating. Graveside services, with military honors, were held Tuesday at Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski.
