William Alexander Lowe III

William Alexander "Bill" Lowe III, 79, of Lewisburg, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at NHC-Oakwood.

A native of Marshall County, Mr. Lowe was the son of the late William Lowe II and Beatrice Towry Lowe. He was a retired tool and die maker with Heil Quaker Corp. and was a member of Farmington Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris Ezell Lowe of Lewisburg; two daughters, Lori (Mark) Carter of Memphis and Janet (Greg) Nier of Castalian Springs,Tenn.; one brother, Bob (June) Lowe of Lewisburg; four grandchildren, Heath (Angela) Nier, Holly (Grant) Smith, Rachel Shea Carter, and Sarah Ashley Carter; and three nieces.

Funeral services for Mr. Lowe were conducted on Saturday, Oct. 18, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Pedigo and Rev. Leland Carden officiating. Burial followed in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers were employees and friends of the tool and die department at Heil Quaker.
