Charles LaFayette Hendrix
Charles LaFayette Hendrix, 74, of Brentwood, passed away on Monday, Oct. 20, 2014.
A native of Charleston, Miss., Mr. Hendrix was born July 24, 1940, to the late Charles L. and Florence Brown Hendrix.
Mr. Hendrix was educated in Tallahatchie County Schools in Charleston and graduated from East Tallahatchie High School in 1958. He furthered his education and graduated from Mississippi State University in 1963 and then received his Law Degree from Nashville Law School in 1969. He practiced law and sold residential real estate in Nashville from 1970 until 2006.
Charlie was inordinately proud of his winning Mississippi Bulldogs recently and loved to travel with his family until his recent illnesses.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Annette Tate Hendrix; one daughter, Beth (James) Nicholson of Augusta, Ga.; one son, Charles Kevin (Tracy) Hendrix of Nashville; one granddaughter, Emily Nicholson, and three grandsons, Daniel Nicholson, Nathan Broquist, and Nathaniel Hendrix.
Graveside services for Mr. Hendrix will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at Head Springs Cemetery on Fishing Ford Road in Belfast.
