Maple Ruth Lowrance Derryberry

Maple Ruth Lowrance Derryberry, 83, of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at St. Thomas West Medical Center in Nashville.

A native of Marshall County, Mrs. Derryberry was the daughter of the late Odell Lowrance and Lena Mae Bivins Lowrance. Mrs. Derryberry retired from Faber Castell in 1994.

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Elmo Derryberry, who passed away in 1995, and her second husband, Carl Cook, who passed away in 2014.

She is survived by one daughter, Neva Ferguson of Primm Springs, Tenn.; one son, Phillip Derryberry of Nashville; one sister, Faye Dunlap of Primm Springs, Tenn.; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Derryberry were held Monday, Jan. 5, in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with her son Phillip officiating. Burial followed in Short Cemetery in the Spring Place Community.
