Thefts and vandalism reported

* A pearl and diamond necklace worth $500 and $700 cash went missing from a gun safe at a Lewisburg couple's home after the safe was open on Dec. 25 when numerous family members were in the house.

* Between noon and 7 p.m. Dec. 29 a vehicle ran through the chain-link fence at a property on Haynes Street, doing $1,000 worth of damage.

* A Lewisburg woman who is a Regions Bank customer reported to Marshall County Sheriff's Department someone in California withdrew $612 from her account in four transactions at an ATM. Regions Bank Fraud Department notified her of the theft.

* A Chapel Hill woman reported to Marshall County Sheriff's Department two checks for a total of $539.08 were stolen out of her mailbox on Dec. 4. The checks were then "washed," had a different payee's name written in, and were cashed at First State Bank in Chapel Hill.

* About 3:55 a.m. Jan. 1, a man pumped $57.87 worth of gas at the Tennessean Truck Stop and drove off without paying.

* A 1995 green GMC pickup was found burning on Moses Road on Jan. 1. The owner told Marshall County Sheriff's Detective Chad Bass the truck broke down there on Dec. 31 and he intended to go back for it the next day.

* A Lewisburg woman reported to Marshall County Sheriff's Department that many items were missing from a garage at one of her rental properties. The missing items include building supplies, cabinets, doors, window screens, hardwood and laminate flooring, and tiles.

* Between 11 p.m. Jan. 3 and 5 p.m. Jan. 4, a Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and three Playstation remotes disappeared from a young man's room in a house he shares with several other people on Franklin Avenue. There were no signs of forced entry.

* A Chapel Hill man reported to Marshall County Sheriff's Department someone changed the password on his Verizon Wireless account, and ordered a new phone on it.

Arrested on a warrant for sale of a Schedule II controlled substance

* Yolanda R. Cross, 34, 6th Avenue South. Bond: $15,000; court date: Jan. 27.

Arrested and charged with driving under the influence

* Tommy D. Martin, 26, Columbia. Bond: $4,000; court date: Feb. 2. Also charged with driving on a revoked license (second offense), violation of the implied consent law, child endangerment, and operation near emergency vehicle.

Arrested and charged with public intoxication

* Cassi L. Whaley, 33. Bond: $500; court date: Feb. 9.

Arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license

* Katherine L. Goodwin. Bond: $2,500; court date: Feb. 9. Also charged with simple possession of scheduled drug (alprazolam) without a prescription.

* Joshua L. Wright, 25. Bond: $1,000; court date: Feb. 2. Also cited for speeding. This is allegedly Wright's second arrest for driving on a suspended license.

Arrested and charged with domestic assault

* John M. Potter, 50, Franklin Road. Bond: $1,500; court date: Jan. 26. Also charged with interfering with an emergency call.

* Robert W. Holly, 67. Bond: $1,000; court date: Jan. 26.

* Luis A. Vargas, 22. Bond: $1,000; court date: Feb. 2.

Arrested and charged with driving without a license

* Hazael Martinez, 23. Bond: $500; court date: Feb. 2. Also cited for display of registration tags (the car Martinez was driving had a valid Texas license plate on the front and an expired Tennessee plate on the back).

* Antonio L. Lopez, 23, Hickory Circle. Bond: $1,000; court date: Feb. 2. This is allegedly Lopez's second arrest for driving without a license. He is held for Robertson County on a probation-violation warrant.

Turned himself in on a warrant for altering the VIN on a motor vehicle

* William M. Holt, 50, Yell Road. Bond: $3,000; court date: Jan. 27.

Arrested on a probation-violation warrant

* Lindsay J. Kellam, 33, Huntsville, Ala. Held without bond for court on Jan. 7.

* Stefinie L. Murrell, 25, Huntsville, Ala. Held without bond for court on Jan. 6.

* Shannon M. Newcomb, 34. Bond: $500; court date: Feb. 2. A report by Marshall County Sheriff's Detective Chad Bass states that Newcomb gave birth to an opiate-addicted baby on Dec. 19, after using opiates during her pregnancy.

* Susan A. Blackwell, 52. Bond: $500; court date: Feb. 2.

* Johnathan T. Tyree, 20, Washington Drive. Bond: $1,000; court date: Feb. 23.

* Dillon B. Stinnett, 22, Saddlewood Drive. Bond: $500; court date: Jan. 5.

* David T. Oxford, 33, Columbia. Bond: $500; court date: Feb. 2.

Served with a probation-violation warrant at Marshall County Jail

* James E. Rollins, 37, Shelbyville. Bond: $1,000; court date: Jan. 27.

Arrested on a failure-to-appear warrant

* Gloria J. Foster, 40, Lawrenceburg. Bond: $500; court date: Feb. 10.

Served with criminal summons for theft over $1,000 and vandalism over $1,000

* Bill E. Gold, 83, Holly Grove Road. Court date: Jan. 20.
