The Forrest Rockets were in high gear on the mat Tuesday night in Chapel Hill, coming away with a convincing sweep over Page and Cheatham County.

The Rockets fell behind early versus the Patriots, trailing 12-0 after losing a pair of pins to open the match, before Billy Clanton righted the ship with a pin over Daniel Vaughn in the 195-pound weight class.

Forrest tied the match on a Page forfeit and the Rockets took the lead when Nik McGuiggan pinned Chase Thoni in the 285-pound weight division.

Page's Alek Filaroski re-knotted the match when he came up with a fall over Harley Sisk at the outset of the lighter weight classes, but Justin Leonard picked up Sisk with a big pin over Vincent Ha in the 113-pound weight class.

Rocket 120-pound standout Dylan Pendley continued his unbeaten streak on the season when he took down Nick Oberstaedt in a second round fall.

Cooper McNair pinned both of his opponents in the 132-pound weight class as the Rockets swept a dual meet Tuesday night, improving to 18-8 on the season.

Peyton Sisk (126 lbs.) and Cooper McNair (132 lbs.) followed with back-to-back pins, giving the Rockets a commanding 42-18 lead.

Andrew Birchett gave Page a glimmer of hope when he pinned Joseph "Cheese" Williams in the 138-pound weight class.

There would be no Page comeback as Clepper Watson (145 lbs.) clinched the win for the Rockets when he pinned Luke Lucas and Ivan Wentzel added six more points to the Forrest total, pinning Sam Sigmon in the 152-pouns weight class.

In the match of the night, Forrest's Jerry Jordan (160 lbs.) battled Peter Leichner before coming away with a 14-13 decision, giving the Rockets the 57-24 victory.
