Charles Austin Middleton

Charles Austin Middleton, 75, of Rockvale, Colo., died Dec. 7, 2014, at Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver, Colo.

Mr. Middleton was a native of Marshall County and was the son of the late Wayne Austin Middleton and Kathleen Trammel Middleton. He retired from the Lewisburg Water and Wastewater Department after 33 years of service as a Water Treatment Plant Operator. He was a member of the Church Street Church of Christ in Lewisburg, and a member of the Florence Church of Christ after moving to Colorado. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a Mason for over 50 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda Paulette Cross Middleton, to whom he was married for over 50 years. He is also survived by his son, Paul Wayne (Anna) Middleton and granddaughters, Frankee Shiann Middleton and Charlee Nicole Middleton, all of Rockvale, Colo.

He is also survived by his brothers, Randy (Saralynn) Middleton of Chattanooga and Gary (Carolyn) Middleton of Lewisburg. Mr. Middleton is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at Church Street Church of Christ with Billy Ross Tankersley and Vinton Morgan officiating.

Visitation with the family will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church and will continue until the funeral hour.

Prior to services Mr. Middleton was cremated in Florence, Colo. Services in Lewisburg are under the direction of the London Funeral Home.
