Zelma Mae Delk Pilkington, 95, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, Jan, 21, 2015.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Brother Bobby McGee will officiate, and burial will follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from noon until service time Sunday.

She was born Sept. 8, 1919, in Bedford County, to the late Joe Pitts Delk and Kitty Mae Prince Delk. She was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Hoyte Thompson, who was lost at sea in 1945, somewhere in the Philippines. Her second husband, James Pilkington, preceded her in death in 2013. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Danny and Mike Pilkington; three brothers, Gentry Delk, William Earl Delk, and Joe Lewis Delk; and a grandson, David King.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Ann King and her husband Carl of Lewisburg and Betty Lorraine Landers and her husband Doyle of Knoxville; two sons, Rudy Pilkington and his wife Dawn and Tony Pilkington, all of Shelbyville; six grandchildren, Sherry Gleghorn and her husband Kelvin, Eddie Landers and his wife Stacey, Yolanda Vannoy, Donna Smith and her husband Brian, Christi Donaldson, and her husband Nathan, and Evan Pilkington; four great-grandchildren, Ashley Fields and her husband William, John Allen Gleghorn, Lee Vannoy and his wife Kerri, and Nathan Landers; and three great-great-grandchildren, Layne Fields, Hardie Fields, and Macon Marie Vannoy.
