Rosa G. Mueller, 80, of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Franz and Anna Glaub.

A native of Hungary, Mrs. Mueller and her husband emigrated to the U.S. in 1952 post WWII where they worked in Alabama as sharecroppers, eventually moving to Buffalo, N.Y. where she and her husband became Jehovah's Witnesses in 1957. She moved with her family to Virginia, then to Maryland, finally settling in Lewisburg in the mid '80s. Her main focus in life was to remain close to Jehovah God, be a good wife and mother and help others understand God's purpose for mankind as revealed in the Bible.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Mathias Glaub.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Guntmar (John) Mueller; four sons, Thomas Mueller of St. Johns Island, S.C., David Mueller of La Habra, Calif., James Mueller of Hagerstown, Md. and Daniel Mueller of Gray Court, S.C.; two daughters, Franziska Turrell of Damascus, Md. and Hannah Floyd of Lewisburg; one sister, Anna Glaub of Buffalo, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1038 War Eagle Drive, Lewisburg, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7.
