Unbeaten Tigers blast 'Cats

The Marshall County High School soccer team can score some goals, while not allowing a single one this season.

The Tigers blasted Lawrence County 8-0 on Saturday to move to 2-0 on the season.

MCHS goaltender Pablo Salinas recorded his second shutout in the game.

David Hernandez had a hat trick for MCHS, scoring three goals, while Marvin Jaimes and Luis Consuelo netted the brace, scoring twice apiece.

Jose Pineda recorded the other tally for the Tigers, who led 5-0 at halftime.

Due to the threat of bad weather on Thursday, the game at Page has been moved to tonight with kickoff scheduled for 5:30pm.
