Assault

*A customer service representative at Walmart reported being assaulted April 15 by a tall, light-skinned black male wearing a light brown jacket and a white baseball cap. According to Patrolman Charles Brannan's report, Walmart worker said the man became angry when he was told he needed a receipt to return a laptop for cash and that the mutilated Kansas driver's license he offered as identification was not in good enough shape to allow him to exchange the laptop for store credit.

*Crystal M. Ward, 36, domestic assault, city court date May 4.

Theft

*A juvenile reported the theft of a wallet from Lewisburg Recreation Center on April 14. The wallet contained $70 in cash as well as hunting documents and an insurance card.

*Cory J. Porch reported that her ATM card was stolen or misplaced while in her husband's possession and that fraudulent charges have been made using the card at Marvin's and at Glendale Market in Columbia. According to Officer James Repasky's report, a security camera at Marvin's shows a white male with gray hair and a moustache, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, using the card.

*Martha Thomason, Fourth Avenue North, reported that an air conditioning unit was stolen from her home some time between April 3 and April 8.
