Sue had recently retired from working at Brookstone, Aledo, where she was a cook. She had previously worked as a correctional officer. Sue was the type of person to always put others before herself. This showed not only in her love of her family, but also in her love for animals, especially wolves and cats. She was a member of the ASPCA. In her spare time she enjoyed crime novels and horror movies and cherished the time spent with grandchildren.
Those left to cherish Sue's memory include her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Tiana Corwin of Lewisburg; daughters and sons-in-law, Kristina and Jason Poteete of Lewisburg and Michele and Mike Davis of New Market; her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Wil, Grace, Ethan, Taylor, Gary Jon, Ian and Braelyn; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
