McCoy takes 4th in national meet
Forrest eighth-grader Wesley McCoy recently represented the Marshall County Wrestling Club (MCWC) and Team Tennessee at the Lee Pamulak Middle School National Duals in Des Moines, Iowa.
McCoy took home a fourth-place trophy at the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) event, posting a 5-3 record in the 160-pound weight class, wrestling opponents from Montana, Illinois, Wyoming, Nebraska and Alabama.
"This was a great accomplishment, we're very proud of Wes," said MCWC President Austin Montgomery.
