Clint's Air Care chills another foe
The return of a Chapel Hill team to the Marshall County Babe Ruth League may not be the best news for the other four ball clubs as Clint's Air Care (CAC) has won its first five games of the season.
CAC's latest win came easily, via a four-inning, 11-0 run-rule win over A-Plus Collision Center on Tuesday night.
CAC pitchers Dylan Eady and Lane Allen combined to throw a no-hitter versus A-Plus.
Mike Dunnavant was the only A-Plus runner to reach base on a fourth inning walk.
CAC banged out 10 hits in the contest and put the game away early, crossing home plate nine times in the top of the first inning.
Dustin Brashear, Ethan Mealer, Jarvis Lyttle, Colby Bluthardt, and Dylan Pendley all had an RBI in the initial offensive onslaught, while Eady cranked a three-run double in the frame.
CAC added a single run in the second on a Lane Allen RBI base hit and the Chapel Hill crew finished up the scoring in the fourth inning when Brashear knocked in Jaylon Smith with an RBI base knock.
Eady pitched perfect baseball for three innings, while Allen finished up the no-hitter in the bottom of the fourth inning.
