Offense sparks Nichirin win
Nichirin was clicking on all cylinders Tuesday night, hammering A-Plus Collision Center 16-3 in four innings.
Nichirin came up with three runs in the top of the first inning with the big blow coming off the bat of Jacob Autry, who slammed a two-run double to deep center field.
Tying it up
A-Plus came right back in the home half of the frame, scoring three times to tie the game as Mike Dunnavant, Tristan Maxwell and Cameron Ruiz all drove a run.
There was no scoring in the second inning, but in the top of the third, Nichirin put the game away, scoring seven runs on just three hits.

Joseph Freeland, Reagan Walker, Tez Allen and Blake Distelow all had RBI in the frame as Nichirin took a commanding 10-3 lead.
Cameron Burrow, who had come on for Nichirin starter Jacob Harris in the second inning did not have any trouble with A-Plus in the bottom of the third inning.
Nichirin sent a dozen batters to the plate in the top of the fourth inning and scored six runs on juts two hits as A-Plus fumbled the ball away three times.
Thomas J. Beardsley and Distelow had one RBI in the inning and Hunter Huarez drove home two more teammates with a double.
Burrow beaned Plott to begin the bottom of the frame, but a 5-3-5 double play thwarted A-Plus' final at bat to end the game.
