Born on Aug. 19, 1952 in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., LaVonne was the daughter of the late Ray Yuncker and the late Arlene Sandel Brewer. She married the love of her life, Russell, on May 5, 1967, and they spent 48 wonderful years together. LaVonne was recently working as a manger at Murphy Oil USA in Pulaski where she had been working for nearly five years. Prior to that, she worked for Mapco for more than 20 years. LaVonne enjoyed reading, but most of all, she loved camping and being outdoors. In her free time, she often liked fishing and being on the water. She loved her family as well as being around people and will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her step-father: Jim Brewer of Hohenwald; son: Fletcher Russell (Margaret) Manning III of Lewisburg; daughter: Virginia Watkins of Columbia; brothers: Carl Ray Yunker of Florence, Ala., Joey Mrazek of Alma, Mich.; sisters: Sally (Danny) Michaels of Alma, Mich., Roxie Fly of Hohenwald, Brenda (Carl) Larman of Ionia, Mich, Shirley (Jerry) Bell of Savannah, Kay Manning of Hernando, Miss., Verna Brooks of Hernando, Miss.; grandchildren: Brittany Manning of Lewisburg, Ashley Watkins of Columbia, Clint (Heather) Watkins of Columbia; and great-grandchildren: Kaylee Starling, Faith Lunn, Madison Watkins, and Carly Watkins.

In addition to her mother and her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Kay Brewer.
