Mr. Ralph Grubb, age 80 of Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
A native of Flint, Michigan, he was the son of the late Ralph Grubb, Sr. and Ellen Taylor Grubb. He retired from General Motors after 42 years of service. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, was a member of the American Legion Post 19, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 108, AMVETS, and the Vietnam Era Veterans of Shelbyville. He was previously the 5th District Commander of the VFW. Ralph was an avid animal lover and enjoyed traveling.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Butler Grubb of Lewisburg; one daughter, Tammy Grubb of Lewisburg; one son, Brooke (Amy) Grubb of Fayetteville; and one sister, Lois Coles of Flint, Michigan.
Memorial services for Mr. Grubb will be conducted on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
