Robert Marion "Bob" Crigger

Robert Marion "Bob" Crigger, age 80 of Nolensville, Tennessee, passed away July 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Marvin and Jessie Hardison Crigger of Lewisburg, Tennessee; and brother, Marvin Randall Crigger of Huntsville, Alabama. Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Paysinger Crigger; his two daughters, Carla (Zach) Richards of Brentwood, Tennessee, and Leigh Ann (Matt) Jernigan of Knoxville, Tennessee; granddaughters, Emma and Sophie Richards of Brentwood; several nephews and a niece.

Robert graduated from Marshall County High School and Middle Tennessee State University. Upon graduation, he served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Washington Manufacturing Company and the Internal Revenue Service. He was a long-time member of Inglewood United Methodist Church and has been a member of Nolensville First United Methodist Church for the last 12 years. He was also a member of the Nolensville Lion's Club, the Nolensville Historic Society, worked with the Meals on Wheels program and was a member of the Seekers Class at Nolensville First UMC.

Visitation was Monday, July 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Waller Chapel, 7281 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, and Tuesday, July 14, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Funeral services were Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Nolensville First United Methodist Church, 7316 Nolensville Road by Rev. Don Sensing and Rev. Jim Norton. Interment in Nolensville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Nolensville First United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
