Josephine 'Josie' King Floyd

Josephine "Josie" King Floyd, age 86, of Lewisburg, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at NHC Healthcare-Lewisburg.

Mrs. Floyd was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee, and the daughter of the late Andrew King and Reba Mae Conwell King. She also was preceded in death by one son, Andy "Pete" Luna; one sister, Lucille Alexander; one half-sister, Brenda Cozart; one half-brother, Jerry King; one grandson, Andy Lee Brown; and one great-grandson, Douglas VanOrdan. She retired from Cosmolab and Moon Pencil, enjoyed working with puzzles, loved reading books and was of the Presbyterian faith.

Mrs. Floyd is survived by two sons, Jimmy (Sharon) Luna of Magnolia, Texas; and Paul (Kathy) Luna of Lewisburg; six daughters, Reba (Terry) Holder, Betty (Michael) Pigg, Norma Luna, Liz (David) Luna, all of Lewisburg; Janet Clark and Debbie Poarch, both of Pulaski, Tennessee; three half-brothers, Carol King, Kenneth King, and Andy (Faye) King, all of Lewisburg; two half-sisters, Cheryl Redd and Wanda King, both of Lewisburg; 36 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren, 31 great-great- grandchildren, two great-great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015, in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. at Lone Oak Cemetery with Marlin Finley officiating.
