Wallace Woodrow Whitworth, Jr., age 81 of Lewisburg, died Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, in Maury Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Whitworth was a native of Giles County, Tennessee, son of the late Wallace Woodrow, Sr. and Ruth Clark Whitworth. He was retired as an engineer with Inter City Products and was a member of the Cornersville First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Clausel Whitworth of Lewisburg; two daughters, Rhonda (Michael) Jeans of Shelbyville, Tennessee, and Sheila (David) White of Lewisburg; four sons, Mickey Whitworth and Mark Whitworth, both of Pulaski, Tennessee; Terry (Kim) Gillum of Lewisburg; and Mark (Tracy) Gillum of Prattville, Alabama; two sisters, Ann Uselton of Lewisburg, and Treva (Harold) Burrow of Pulaski. Twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren, also, survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Beechwood Cemetery.

The family was at Cornersville Funeral Home from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday from noon until the funeral hour for visitation.
