FMS stays unbeaten

Forrest Middle School remained undefeated on the season after a 37-0 romp over Westwood Thursday night at Manchester.

The dynamic duo of "Whack and Wham" did it again for the Rockets as Nick McClendon ran for 164 yards and two touchdowns, and Blaize Sweeney rushed for 133 and two scores.

Quarterback Joel Burton completed both his pass attempts for 25 yards, including a TD pass to Cole Villazon.

Tate Garvin had six tackles to spearhead the Rockets' defense while Kody Patin and Sweeney had five and McClendon and Villazon had 4 apiece.

FMS is back home at 7 p.m. Thursday to face Fayetteville.
