Brandon Reed Lancaster

Brandon Reed Lancaster, age 89 of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, in Maury Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Lancaster was a native of Belfast, Tennessee, and son of the late John Warren and Celia Ann Helton Lancaster. He served his country in the U.S. Army in the South Philippines during World War II. He retired from Heil Quaker Corporation as an engineer. He served as past president of the Lewisburg Lions Club, Marshall County Library, Bluegrass Regional Library Board, Heil Quaker Credit Union Board, and was serving on the Marshall County Senior Citizen Board of Directors, and he was a member of the American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Betty Ruth Clymore Lancaster; two sisters, Beatrice Griffin and Dorothy Davis; and three brothers, Melvin Lancaster, Burt Lancaster, and R.L. Lancaster. He is survived by two sons, Gary (Theresa) Lancaster of Lewisburg and Jackie (Rhonda) Marson Lancaster of Georgetown, Texas; five grandchildren, Melanie Hammond, Brandee (Steven) Worsham, Nathan Lancaster, Connor Lancaster, and Jansen Brown; two great grandchildren and special friend, Edna Hickman, of Lynnville.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery with military honors.

The family will be at London Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday for visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marshall County Library, Marshall County Senior Citizensor Church Street Church of Christ library.
