South Lincoln takes charge in 2nd half
The Cornersville Middle School Bulldogs, riding a 16 game winning streak, started fast, but finished slow in a 32-12 loss at South Lincoln County Middle School Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs scored with two first quarter touchdowns, beginning with a Brady Calahan 18-yard run and a Tyler Wolaver 15 yard scamper, but both attempts on 2-point conversion plays failed.
South Lincoln came back with a touchdown and a two-pt conversion before the first half ended, making it 12-6.
It was all Lincoln County in the second half as the Eagles scored 24 unanswered points to claim the victory.
Cornersville played South Giles last night in Frog Bottom.
