Mary Elizabeth Warren
Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Warren, age 84 of Petersburg, Tennessee, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at the Hope Assemby of God Church with Brother Phillip Warren officiating. Burial will follow at the Foster Cemetery. Mrs. Warren passed away on Tuesday evening, Nov. 3, 2015, at her residence.
She was a native of Lincoln County, Tennessee, and the daugther of the late William Christopher and Mary Ella Mitchell Rutledge. Mrs. Warren was a homemaker, member of the Hope Assembly of God Church and loved making and refinishing dolls to give to children at Christmas.
Survivors include seven daughters, Martha Harris (Jimmy) of Shelbyville, Tennessee; Mary Sue Green and husband Jimmy of Lewisburg; Kathy Mouyal and husband Alain of Huntsville, Alabama; Judy Harmon and husband Roger of Petersburg; Rosie Rozar and husband Gary of the Belleville Community; Lisa Tally of Unionville, Tennessee; and Charlene Warren of Huntsville; six sons, Leslie Warren and wife Patricia of Petersburg; Edwin Warren of Pulaski, Tennessee; Clifton Warren of Shelbyville; Phillip Warren and wife Linda of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; Gary Warren and wife Shannon of Manchester, Tennessee; and Lannie Warren and wife Donna of Petersburg; 40 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Don Rutledge of Tullahoma, Tennessee; Fred Rutledge of Petersburg; and Paul Rutledge of Nevada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Warren; granddaughter Sabrina Everett; grandson Jerrel Jeter; six brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 at Higgins Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Visitation at the church will be 10 a.m. until the service.
