Mildred Brown, age 91 formerly of Cornersville, died Monday, November 23, 2015 in Community Care Center in Murfreesboro.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Marshall County, and daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Jennie Ann Phifer Collins. She was a homemaker and member of the Cornersville Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Dugger Brown, five brothers, Algie Lee Collins, Sam Collins, R.G. Collins, Howard Collins, and Paul Collins. She is survived by two daughters, Ann (Jim) Burkhalter and Karen (Richard) Messick all of Murfreesboro, son, Edwin (Angela) Brown of Cornersville, , brother, Elam Collins of Dyersburg, six grandchildren, Jamie (Gina) Heintz, Jared Heintz, Audrey (Mike) Woodward, Holly (Lonny) Drayton, Lindy (Tyrus) King and Timothy Brown, eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cornersville Church of Christ.
