The Marshall County Wrestling Club has recently competed at Virginia, Alabama and Georgia, not to mention at home in the Volunteer state.

The MCWC brought grapplers to Madison, Ala. to compete in the 2015 Madison Dog Fight Tournament where the club entered 12 wrestlers, who proceeded to rack up 26 wins with 18 pins.

Eli Bell captured first place and Liam Bell, Seth McCoy, and Drew Ledbetter earned second place honors. Third place winners were Dustin Jett and Micah McClendon.

"Our wrestlers are as tough as they come. They never give up," Chris Posey, club founder said.

The club will be hosting an elementary school dual meet on January 19 at 6 p.m. at Horton Haven Christian Camp in its gymnasium at Chapel Hill. There is no charge and concessions will be available. If you would like to see Marshall County's finest youth wrestlers compete with other clubs from the Middle Tennessee, make a note to be there.
