Dennis Ray 'Duffer' Gotham

Dennis Ray 'Duffer' Gotham passed away on Nov. 27, 2015 in Eustis, Fla. after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 62 years old.

Born to John and Ruby (Cooley) Gotham on Feb. 27, 1953, Dennis grew up in Albee Township. He graduated from Chesaning High School in 1971.

After high school, Dennis worked for Buick in Flint, later transferring to Saturn in Spring Hill, Tenn. He continued to work for Saturn until his retirement.

Dennis is survived by his ex-wife, Sandy Gotham and daughter Margie of Lewisburg; brothers Ray Gotham of Chesaning, Larry (Sally) Gotham of Chesaning, MI, Garry (Ben) and Darlene (Cookie) Gotham of Burt, MI and a sister, Diane (Gordon) Bush of Eustis, Fla.

Dennis was predeceased by his parents, John and Ruth (Cooley) Gotham; brothers Marvin, Merlin and Ronnie; and sisters Della Wilson and Dorothy Deaton.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Local 1853 Union Hall in Springhill, TN.
