'The Foreigner' hears it all

Tuesday, May 3, 2016

Tickets are on sale now for "The Foreigner" playing at the Fly Arts Center on May 6, 7, 13, 14 and 15.

The comedy is set in a rural Georgia fishing lodge, where two friends have gone for a few days. Charlie is having a few problems at home and his friend Froggy wants to cheer him up. Charlie does not want to speak to anyone while at the lodge and therefore Froggy explains to everyone that he is a foreigner. This is were all the hilarity begins. The town's residents feel free to say anything in front of Charlie and he learns all their secrets.

Tony Davis is the Director.

The Fly Art Center is located at 204 S. Main Street in Shelbyville. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7 p.m. and Sunday matinee is 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 and $12. Call (931) 684-8359 to make reservations (if no one answers, please leave a message and someone will call you back).
