Mary Sue Curtis Hobby

Mary Sue Curtis Hobby, age 76 of Lewisburg, died Friday, October 21, 2016 at Marshall Medical Center.

Mrs. Hobby was a native of Marshall County. She was the daughter of the late Hubert Knox and Vurnia Hamlin Curtis. She was a mother and homemaker and she was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lee Hobby.

She is survived by three daughters, Marcella (Preston) Perryman of Lewisburg, Melinda (Trey) Hite of Cross Plains, Tennessee, and Melissia (David) Perryman of Lewisburg; three sons, Richard (Rita) Hobby of Wheel, William Hobby of Wheel and Chris (Charlene) Hobby of Wheel and a brother, Hubert Knox Curtis, Jr. of Wheel. Seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 3 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Round Hill cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home for visitation on Sunday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour.
