Frances 'Fran' Parker

Frances "Fran" Parker, age 73 of Cornersville, died Monday, November 28, 2016 at her residence.

Ms. Parker was a native of Dickson County, Tennessee and daughter of the late Wallace Emmitt and Kathleen Rawlston Heflin. She was a Tennessee Walking Horse trainer before retirement. She was a member of Cornersville Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wallace Heflin, Jr., and sister, Peggy L. Simpkins. She is survived by

two daughters, Kenya Fuqua of Lynnville, and Kim Fuqua Taylor of Ocala, Florida, two sons, Kenneth Fuqua, Jr. of Cornersville, and Sam Schropshier of Cornersville, sister, Nancy Dearmond of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, three brothers, Ronald Cordle of White Creek, Howard S. Cordle of Whitehouse, and John Wayne Holleman of Port Orange, Florida, five grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted by Arthur Payne Friday, December 2, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home.

The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until the service hour for visitation.

Cornersville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
