The STEPS program consists of a group of students at Westhills Elementary School. STEPS stands for Students Thinking, Explaining, Practicing, Sharing. Recently, the STEPS students organized a drive for the Lewisburg Animal Shelter. They collected leashes, collars, dog blankets, toys, treats, and food from the Westhills’ student body. Halle Swinney initiated this project and donated over $80 of her own money to the Lewisburg Animal Shelter. Sara McAdams, librarian and STEPS teacher at Westhills Elementary School, organized this project. Students in the picture.
