Fishing Report

The Normandy bass bite is still hit or miss but some better fish have been coming out of the creeks on Storm search baits. The crappie bite is getting better every day and Carol creek has been on fire. Long line trolling Kalins triple threat grubs on 1/8-ounce jig heads has been the key.

Percy Priest

Percy Priest is just on fire as of late. The bass are shallow and the spinnerbait bite is getting good. Large ounce spinnerbaits in chartreuse have been doing very well. The crappie bite is hot and its hard to not catch your dinner. Minnows, trolling, and jigs are all producing very well. Hybrids and stripers are moving and can be caught trolling umbrella rigs.

Old Hickory

Old Hickory has struggled with the rain. The creeks are still muddy and the fishing has been below par at best.

Guntersville is another lake that is fishing very well. Large catches of both crappie and bass are being reported. Bass are still tearing up a lipless crankbait in gold. Key in on the grass and if your not getting hung in the grass you are fishing too fast.
