Greetings for the historic Town of Lynnville, Tennessee!!!!
Snow in March? It was a very pretty snow, but did not last long.
Monday, March 20 is the first day of spring. Can you believe that spring is here!!
Hope everyone remembered to change their clocks on Sunday one hour forward. Spring forward one hour until fall.
Dr. Larry Wood, brother to David Wood, who is the minister of the Lynnville First Presbyterian Church, will preach at the Lynnville first Presbyterian church on Sunday, March 19, 2017. Everyone is invited to attend.
Mark your calendars for “Easter Sunrise Service” to be held on Easter morning, April 16 at 6 a.m. in the Lynnwood Cemetery located on West Main Street. If there is inclement weather, the service will be held in the Lynnville First Baptist Church. The Lynnville First Baptist Church, The Lynnville United Methodist Church, and the Lynnville First Presbyterian Church will be participating in the service. Everyone is invited to come and worship together at the Lynnville Easter Sunrise Service.
There will be a “Maundy Thursday Service” at the Lynnville United Methodist Church on Thursday evening, April 13. Information will be forthcoming on this worship service.
Larry Gates will present a dramatic one-person play featuring Pontius Pilate as the character at the Lynnville first Presbyterian Church on Good Friday, April 14 at 6 p.m. The Lynnville First Baptist and the Lynnville United Methodist Church will join the Lynnville First Presbyterian congregation for this dramatic performance. Refreshments will be served following the performance in the fellowship hall of the church.

The Gun Shop on the Lynnville Square has added for sale, antiques and flee market items. There are some real nice items for collectors. A lot of nice glassware and furniture. Be sure if you are in town, stop by and take a look. The Gun Shop is next to the Lynnville Bakery on East Main Street.
