Katie Reed Golf set for May 6

Katie Reed (91), who hadn’t golfed for several years was asked to make a putt for a photo opportunity at last year’s tournament, she graciously obliged – and then sank it!

COLLEGE GROVE –FiftyForward College Grove’s signature fundraiser, the Katie Reed Golf Classic, returns Saturday, May 6, on the Buford Ellington Golf Course at Henry Horton State Park. Registration for the four-person scramble will begin at 7 am. Tee off is at 8.

The cost per player is $100 and includes a round of golf and cart, a goody bag, beverages, snacks, and lunch. A limit of two mulligans per player can be purchased for $5each. Players can also enter a putting contest for $5.

An array of prizes will be awarded after the play is completed, including:

First, Second and Third Place prizes in three flights
Longest Drive (men’s and women’s)
Closest to the Pin (men’s and women’s)
Putting Contest
Door Prizes
