Cornersville Elementary School celebrated “Read Across America” week. Dress-up days included “One Fish, Two Fish” wear red or blue, T-shirt Tuesday, “Wild about Reading,” and “Thing One and Thing Two” hat and twin day. Students enjoyed the Dr. Seuss display in the lobby of the school as well as a school-wide graph determining the school’s favorite Dr. Seuss book which was “Green Eggs and Ham.” Many visitors came to read to classrooms including retired teachers Mr. Randy Curtis and Mrs. Jane Aldridge.
