Restaurant reopens at Henry Horton State Park

Chapel Hill, Tenn. – The Governor’s Table Restaurant at Henry Horton State Park will reopen on Friday, May 5 at 4 p.m. The new space features a bakery, coffee bar and a revamped menu with both home-style favorites and modern additions.

“Our restaurant still maintains that comfortable, hometown feel while offering a greater variety of menu choices for our guests,” said Park Manager Ryan Jenkins.

The refreshed space boasts a new menu featuring home-style favorites like a catfish sandwich, twists on old favorites like the pimento cheese BLT, and healthy options including grilled salmon. The renovated dining room also features a coffee bar and bakery open seven days a week beginning at 7 a.m.

The grand opening will take on a Cinco de Mayo theme, including special discounts on margaritas and entrees.

Standard operating hours will be Mondays-Thursdays 7 a.m.-8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays 7 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sundays 7 a.m.-2 p.m. The dining room will open daily at 11 a.m. The restaurant also features a full-service bar, The Tipped Canoe. Buffet service will only be available on Sundays.
