Marshall County FCE hosts fundraiser

Marshall County FCE is hosting a “Traveling Silent Auction” at the Marshall County Art Guild. The kick-off was Thursday, May 4, 2017, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The proceeds from this event will be for 4-H scholarships.

The auction items will be taken to the following businessess at the times shown: Friday, May 5, 2017, CB&S Bank in Cornersville from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; Monday, May 8, 2017, First National Bank in Lewisburg, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Tuesday, May 9, 2017, First Farmers & Merchants Bank in Lewisburg, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; Thursday, May 11, 2017, Marshall County Memorial Library, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Thursday, May 11, 2017, Heritage South Community Credit Union in Lewisburg, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The silent auction will close Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 6 p.m. All bidders will be contacted to give “final and best bid.” Winners may pick up item(s) Friday, May 12, 2017, between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., at the Marshall County Art Guild. Payment can be made with a check, cash or money order.

A few of the items included in this silent auction are watercolor paintings, homemade quilts, a University of Tennessee purse, jewelry, books written by local author Billy Cook, and a variety of other items.
