Bryan Richard Giles, age 15 of Cornersville, died at his home due to an accident Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

Bryan was born the third son of Wayne Scott and Cindy Batey Giles on December 11, 2001, in Williamson County, TN. He would have been a member of the sophomore class this fall at Cornersville High School. Bryan was a member of the Cornersville “Bulldog” Football Team.

In addition to his parents of Cornersville, he is survived by two brothers, Brandon Giles of Pulaski and Blake Giles of Cornersville; maternal grandmother, Clara Batey of Franklin; paternal grandmother, Donna Giles of Cornersville; aunts, uncles and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Batey and paternal grandfather, Wayne Giles.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 10, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the Cornersville High School gym with burial to follow in Beechwood Cemetery.

The family will be at the school gym Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.

Serving as pallbearers are Houston Williams, Jackson Mitchell, Brandon Giles, Blake Giles, Greg Giles and Andrew Giles. Honorary pallbearers will be the Cornersville High School Football Team and the Class of 2020.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a scholarship fund that has been opened at CB&S Bank in memory of Bryan.
