James "Jim" Harold Landrum
James “Jim” Harold Landrum, age 85 of Mooresville, died Saturday, June 10, 2017, at his residence.
Mr. Landrum was a native of Ringgold, GA, and son of the late James Elbert and Lela Lacey Landrum. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force, retired from Lockheed Aircraft and General Motors Corporation. After retirement he was a van driver for special ed students in the Marshall County School System. He was a member of the Mooresville Fire Department Board where he served as president for several years. Mr. Landrum was a member of Friendship Baptist Church where he served as a trustee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Landrum and Charles Landrum, and two sisters, Sarah DeLong and Mary White. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Williams Demastus Landrum of Mooresville, daughter, Debbie McPherison of Houston, TX, step-daughter, June D. (Jimmy) Flowers of Mooresville, three granddaughters, Pamila (Chris) Jones of Mooresville, Christi (Derrick) Hamlett of Lewisburg, Brittany (Travis) Rye of Mooresville, seven great grandchildren, brother, Steve Landrum of Lewisburg, sister, Betty Reece of Georgia.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bryant Cemetery with military honors.
The family will be at London Funeral Home Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. for visitation.
