Marvin Gopell Burrow

Marvin Gopell Burrow, Jr., age 89 of Lewisburg, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, at NHC Oakwood.

Mr. Burrow was a native of Marshall County, and was the son of the late Marvin Gopell, Sr. and Minnie Elizabeth Pyland Burrow. He served in the National Guard for six years, was a retired supervisor from ICP, and he was a member of East Commerce Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Pearson; two sisters, Frances and Ruby Burrow; one brother, Horace Burrow. He is survived by his wife, Salene Burrow of Lewisburg; sister, Kay Burrow of Decatur, AL; two brothers, Robert Burrow of Pulaski and Charles Burrow of PA; granddaughter, Famelle (Derrick) Crump of Lewisburg; grandson, Matt (April) Pearson of Lewisburg; great grandsons, Hunter (Abby) Booker of Big Bear City, CA and Mickey Crump of Lewisburg; and a great-great grandchild due in January, 2018.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Head Springs Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home for visitation on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour.
