Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 5, Forrest High School will celebrate “Spirit Week.”

Students are encouraged to show their school spirit every day by participating in spirit activities led by the Forrest Student Council. On Friday, the traditional homecoming parade will begin from the front of the school at 12:30 p.m., will proceed through town, and will end at the Murray Holton Memorial Field - “The Rock.”

On Friday night, Homecoming Queen Emma Stacey will be crowned in a ceremony beginning at 6 p.m. Following the pre-game ceremonies, the Rockets will take on the Summertown Eagles. Kick-off is at 7 p.m.

At half-time, members of the Class of 1992 will be honored as they celebrate their twenty-five year reunion. Members of that class will be introduced to the fans and then treated to a reception sponsored by the Forrest Alumni Association where they can spend time reminiscing about their days as Forrest students. Homecoming is an exciting time in Chapel Hill. Come out, join the fun, and cheer the Rockets on to a homecoming victory!
