Marie Kercheval "Kerche" Hawkins Musgrave
Mrs. Marie Kercheval “Kerche” Hawkins Musgrave, age 97, of Farmington, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at Marshall Medical Center.
Mrs. Musgrave was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Thomas Hale Sr. and Rozelle Haggard Hawkins. She was a member of the Farmington Church of Christ, a homemaker and a retired employee and part owner of the Lewisburg Tribune and Marshall Gazette.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, F.C. “Buddy” Musgrave Jr. in 2007. She was also preceded by one daughter, Evelyn “Lyn” Musgrave; grandson, Frank C. Musgrave IV; great granddaughter, Katie Marie Musgrave; sister, Evelyn Hawkins Harris; and two brothers, James M. Hawkins and Thomas Hale Hawkins Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Frank C. (Janell) Musgrave III of Smyrna, and Joel (Patty) Musgrave of Petersburg; one daughter, Rosemary Musgrave (Ray) Stacey of Lewisburg; eight grandchildren, David (Becky) Musgrave, Janet M. Kilpatrick, Jennifer S. (Brian) Johns, Lyn (Tara) Stacey, Meredith S. (Jeremy) Qualls, Daniel (Tiffany) Musgrave, Jacob Musgrave, and Judy C. Musgrave; sixteen great grandchildren, Frank V, Davis, Alison, RuthAnn, RoseMary, Ransom, Lane, Mary Grace, Colt, Major, Merfy, Macray, Jordan, Sara, Luke, Samantha; and seven great-great grandchildren, Tyler, Levi, Tinley, Alexius, Heyden, Weston, and Judd; three sister in laws, June Orr, Carolyn Hawkins, June Hawkins, and a multitude of friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, at 11 a.m. from the Farmington Church of Christ with burial to follow in Temple Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Monday evening at London Funeral Home from 4 p.m. and will continue until 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Farmington Church of Christ.
