Annie Lee Harmond Haislip
Annie Lee Harmond Haislip, born on Dec. 27, 1925, went to be with her Savior on Oct. 6, 2017, at NHC Merihil in Lewisburg, TN.
Annie Lee was a lifelong resident of Lewisburg, TN. She retired after many years of employment from Cosmolab in 1994. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Everett Haislip; a daughter, Connie Haislip Perkins; parents, Willie Lee and Mamie Kate Sharp Harmond; and a brother, Willie Edd Harmond. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Yvonne Haislip; son-in-law, David Perkins; sister, Joyce Harmond Allison; niece, Amy Allison Fox; and two great-nephews, William and James Fox.
After a long illness, Annie Lee has been set free from the pain and cares of this world to rejoice with her loved ones and the Lord in heaven. She loved and served her family faithfully for 91 years. Her Southern cooking skills were surpassed by none, and her laughter was contagious. She was an example of hard work, enduring faith, and perserverance to all who knew her. A loving mother, sister, aunt and friend, she will be deeply missed.
Visitation with the family was held on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the chapel at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service was conducted immediately afterward in Short Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers were Jackie Sharp, Russell McDaniel, Larry McCollum, Jeff Haislip, Ike Wiggins, and George Perkins.
