Mrs. Regina Louise Black, age 59, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017.

Mrs. Black was a native of Lincoln County, the daughter of Mr. Calvin Lee Pruitt and the late Martha Louise Gardner. She was formerly employed by Cosmolab and Christian Brands and was a homemaker. She was also associated with the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Shelbyville.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Pruitt. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 15 years, David Black; one son, Joshua (Jacqueline) Wells of Lewisburg; step mother, Mary Ann Pruitt of the Wheel Community; four grandchildren, Austin, Gabriel, Preston, and MaKayla Wells; seven sisters, Melody McKneel of Huntsville, AL, Cindy Lovett of Summerville, GA, Kimberly Martin of Lewisburg, Daphne Lentz of Columbia, Mechelle Crews of Athens, AL, Sharon Martin, and Sue McCool; two brothers, John Myers and Darrell Myers, both of Taylorsville, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at 12 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.

Visitation with the family began Tuesday evening from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday until the funeral hour.
