Kimberly Van Carter, age 55, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at St. Thomas Midtown.

Ms. Carter was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of Mr. Randall E. (Hazel) Carter of Belfast and Ms. Pearl Howard of Lewisburg. She was an inspector for Teledyne in Lewisburg and was a member the First Baptist Church of Lewisburg.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Britni Carter Dickens of Lewisburg and Claudia Carter of Lewisburg; one sister, Shan Wells of Lewisburg; one brother, Troy Carter of Austin, TX; three grandchildren, Madison Dickens, Caiden Mihalek, Reagan Ethridge; two step-brothers, Greg Tomlin of Nashville and Mike Tomlin of Lewisburg; and one step-sister, Ronda Buford of Franklin. She is preceded in death by her grandchild, Rolston Carter; nephew, Brandon Carter Bradley; grandparents, Catherine and Leonard Bradford, Albert and Mary Carter; step-father, Charles Howard.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Lewisburg and burial followed in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation with the family began on Saturday at the church from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and continued Sunday from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour.
