Roslyn Garrett Collins, 99, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, in NHC Oakwood Healthcare.

Mrs. Collins was a native of Lewisburg, TN, born to William Turner and Vivian Nelms Garrett on Nov. 19, 1917. She retired from Cathey Furniture Company in the insurance department and was a member of Church Street Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Collins, Sr. in 1981; a sister, Sadie Bell Thomas; and six brothers, Omar Garrett, Malcolm Garrett, Paul Ray Garrett, G.D. Garrett, Thomas F. Garrett and Bill F. Garrett. She is survived by her son, Charles (Connie) Collins, Jr. of Lewisburg; three granddaughters, Kaylyn (Larry) Ammon of Richmond, VA, Kristen (Will) Gold of Lewisburg and Karyn (Kevin) Williams of Shelbyville; and their mother, Nancy Andrews Hardison of Lewisburg; five great grandchildren, Katy, Madalyn and Andrew Gold, Kenna Puckett and Jake Moore; four great-great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

The family will be at London Funeral Home Sunday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
